Attorney Lisa LeDoux Bruce was born and raised in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and graduated with honors from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1986. Prior to attending the University of Houston Law Center, from which she graduated with a J.D. in 1991, Lisa taught high school English in the Aldine ISD in the Houston area.

With over a quarter-century of legal practice, Lisa has acquired extensive experience in family law matters, as well as business and commercial matters. Lisa's prior experience in the commercial and business realm brings a unique perspective and valuable knowledge to her practice, which is now exclusively in the area of family law. Lisa's background is particularly valuable in divorce and property division matters involving family businesses or other business interests.

Lisa genuinely believes that the best resolutions to family law matters, including divorce and child custody cases, are those that provide families with practical solutions to often-complicated situations. Frequently, these solutions can be reached through careful negotiation; however, there are times litigation is the only way to achieve a just outcome. Lisa will work with her clients in reaching a favorable resolution of disputed issues through mediation or negotiation; however, as an experienced trial attorney, she will also aggressively advocate for her clients in court.
